HOUSTON (AP) — Amari Cooper set a franchise record with 265 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns and a 2-point conversion to move the Cleveland Browns closer to a playoff berth with a 36-22 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.Cooper’s performance moved him atop the Browns’ record book ahead of Josh Gordon, who had 261 yards receiving against Jacksonville on Dec. 1, 2013. Boston police are turning to the public for help as they work to identify a suspect in connection with a series of credit card fraud incidents that occurred in the downtown Boston area. Police say the person pictured may be linked to three separate incidents where false credit cards were used to withdraw money from ATM machines.The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. A woman who was shot by Norwood police after allegedly pointing a weapon toward them on Friday afternoon is expected to survive her injuries, police said Sunday.Officers responding to a report of a woman armed with a gun at a storage facility around 1 p.m. found the woman in the parking lot of the business, leading to a standoff that lasted nearly 45 minutes as police attempted to talk the individual into dropping the firearm.During the incident, Brooks said the woman would periodically point the gun at her head as well as officers, with police holding their fire until the woman began to approach Morse Street and police.It was at that point that a Norwood police officer fired a single shot at the woman, sending her to the ground with a wound to her midsection.Officials immediately rendered first aid to the woman, who was later flown to a Boston hospital for treatment.Brooks said it was unclear what brought the woman to the area on Friday, saying authorities would continue to investi...Patriots captain Matthew Slater in list of inactives vs. Broncos

SAN DIEGO -- A 911 call about a suspected burglary led to a police pursuit then a foot pursuit in a residential area of Rancho Santa Fe Saturday night. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, a neighbor alerted police to an ongoing burglary at a home in the 6000 block of Poco Lago Saturday evening. One person was seriously injured following a head-on crash involving a car and a bus in Scarborough. Police say the crash occurred in the area of Sheppard Avenue East and Havenview Road around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.Paramedics tell CityNews the driver of the vehicle was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries while others were being assessed on scene.Police say two others were eventually taken to hospital with minor injuries.
